Our Story
Welcome to The Cataloger, a small project with a big mission: to advocate for the welfare of stray cats on the idyllic Greek island of Paros. We're not a registered organization, but we are a dedicated team of individuals who are passionate about making a difference for the cats of Paros.
Our story began in September 2021, when we visited Paros for the first time and fell in love with the island and its feline inhabitants. We knew that we had to come back and do something to help the cats, so we took a bold step and rented a house on the island. Yes, we know it sounds crazy, but we believe in our mission and are willing to make sacrifices to make it happen.
Despite having full-time jobs, we've dedicated 100% of our free time to advocating for the cats of Paros. Our work includes feeding and caring for stray cats, providing them with medical care when needed, and working to raise awareness about the challenges faced by stray animals on the island.
At The Cataloger, we're committed to living a sustainable, creative #greekislandlife, while also making a positive impact on the community. We believe that every cat deserves a safe and loving home, and we're working tirelessly to make this a reality for the cats of Paros.
Thank you for joining us on this journey, and we hope that you'll be inspired to get involved and help make a difference for the cats of Paros.

Baby steps: Our hearts were touched when we stumbled upon a cat-mom and her three adorable kittens. It was a pivotal moment that ignited our passion for helping the cats of Paros. Although we were unsure where to start, we knew that providing them with food and water was the first step toward making a difference. And so began our journey with The Cataloger project, fueled by our love and commitment to the welfare of stray cats.

Witness the amazing transformation of this kitten from sick and frail to healthy and vibrant! Despite being afflicted with cat flu, we didn't give up on them and provided them with the right treatment and care. Just look at them now - they're nothing short of gorgeous!

Get ready to be amazed! Kostos, a quaint little village on Paros Island, was teeming with furry feline friends when we arrived. Some residents were enthusiastic about the cats, while others were not so thrilled with the smells and the mess. to health*. We're proud to say that we made a significant impact in Kostos, and we're excited to continue our work across the island! * This was only possible thanks to Paroscat's support.

However, we weren't going to let that stop us! Our team sprang into action, performing over 50 successful neutering surgeries and nursing dozens of sick cats back

From wild and sick to thriving and slick! This fluffy white and orange kitten had us on our toes. It took a lot of patience, a scratch or two, and some serious surgical skills, but we're thrilled to say he's now thriving in his colony! Check out his transformation from the scaredy-cat in the cage to the confident, one-eyed wonder he is today!

Purrfect teamwork! Here is a photo of our second trip to the vet. Thanks to the generous support of Paroscat who sponsored their neutering. It's amazing what we can achieve when we all work together for the well-being of our furry friends.

This white cat battled skin cancer, but thanks to proper care and attention, she's now a thriving survivor with a clipped ear to show for it. We're grateful to have been a part of her journey toward a healthy and happy life. The surgery was also paid by Paroscat.

From a weak and malnourished kitten to a healthy and happy one! With proper nutrition and care, this little one bounced back from the effects of stomatitis.
